Barbara PerretABOUT THE AUTHORS:
ALISON is now preoccupied with offering every assistance to family, grandchildren and friends. She dabbles in writing poetry and lives quietly on a small farm.
BARB has sadly passed away. Her life was celebrated by more than one hundred people from our community who had been touched by her wisdom and presence.
CHRIS has just won three gold medals at the transplant Olympic Games in Perth. He is pursuing his love of writing and art and supporting other people in their journeys with organ donation.
ART has spent the last five years following his passion for holistic "body, mind and spirit" healing, both individually and for family and community peace. Living in the Philippines, a strongly Christian country, he believes Christianity needs to reconnect with its healing roots, helping empower people to take responsibility for their own healing. His current passion is writing about how healing techniques embedded in the Bible and Gnostic Gospels can be practically expanded and directly applied by those in physical or mental suffering.”
JANA is currently enjoying new levels of energy as she facilitates workshops and practice groups in the process of "Compassionate Communication". She is registered as a candidate for certification with the Centre for Non-Violent Communication and is working on presenting Youtube role plays in positive ways of dealing with conflict.Priorities involve salsa classes, choirs, rejoicing in her grandchildren and wild Irish dancing at local pub.
GLENDA continues to "live at the speed of rest" and is surrendered to ongoing self inquiry. She very much enjoys a simple life in Byron Bay along with her online interests. She enjoys travelling to visit her family as often as her health condition allows. She has recently taken up watercolour painting.
CATH sadly passed away recently. She was greatly loved by her family and friends and will live on in their hearts always. She leaves a young daughter, husband, family and many friends who are grateful to have shared some of their journey alongside hers, being the inspiration that she was for all.
LAURA has deepened her ability to surrender to what is,helping her to transform tragic family circumstances into poetry. In her sixties she has found a new balance and vitality to follow her dream of travelling and sharing her writing and workshops on poetry as soul medicine around the world.
RUTH celebrates that deep inside she has healed on many levels. Her "not good enoughs" have gone away, her disease activity is minimal and her vitality is high, enabling her to embrace life and relationships warmly. She has rich contacts with many people with chronic illness and adversity, plays tennis and has co-ordinated the writing of this book.
